Talk It Out
The first "Talk it Out" program (2011) focused on "A Community Conversation To Fix School Discipline" in response to questions from the community regarding school discipline policies in their neighborhoods. A second version explored the school-to-prison pipeline with the creation of "Talk It Out: A conversation about Reentry, Redemption, Renewal”
In 2016 this project explored the stories of those affected by California Prop 47, which reduces certain non-violent drug possession, theft and forgery felonies to misdemeanors; previously incarcerated men and women are able to change their criminal records.
